Sony Bravia KDL-40W5100 Features

Sony Bravia KDL-40W5100 features include great black shade, Yahoo widget options. Video streaming function, connectivity with HDMI and video on demand. This is a great performance LCD TV from Sony. But on the other hand it is a bit more expensive and there are some issues with screen uniformity and the streaming options are not so appealing. The design is good and the angles are very sharp and the frame is very compact. The speakers are not visible and are hidden.

This is a cheap model from Sony and it has a great quality for motion resolution with 120Hz processing.You can not get the anti blurring effects without the dejudder. The widget are nice but most of the widgets are not usually used by most of the people.The streaming video quality of Youtube and other free videos is bad.

We can install an Ethernet connection to the TV or by installing 3rd party wireless connection. There is color temperature setting as well as the noise reduction option.We can try white balance ,gamma settings and other options to have a great picture clarity.There is an option for displaying 1,080 resolution without any scaling.

There is a power saving option which reduces the brightness and limits the energy consumption.There is also an option to automatically turn off TV after a set time of inactivity. There is also a mode where the screen is off but the sound still continues. There are HDMI inputs as well as USB port on the back side of the TV. There is a great color accuracy but some uniformity problem in the video.
